Greenbelt, MD (April 23, 2026) — Merrick Studios has released the first episode for its newest original series, The Heavy Hitter DJs Podcast, a show focused on the voices and stories shaping music and culture across cities worldwide.
Hosted by DJ Enuff, DJ Camilo, DJ Kast One, and L. Boogs, the podcast spotlights DJs whose influence is felt on dance floors, airwaves, and beyond—individuals who have helped define their local scenes while contributing to the global sound of music today.
Each episode traces the full arc of its guests: where they started, how they became key players in their markets, how their cities have evolved during their rise, and what lies ahead for both the DJ and the culture they represent. Blending personal perspective with a deep understanding of regional scenes, the show offers a clear look at how music and nightlife continue to shift and grow.
Ahead of its public debut, the first episode and trailer were exclusively screened for all 115 members of the Heavy Hitters DJ collective, along with DJ Khaled. The response was highly positive, with praise for the show’s perspective, storytelling, and commitment to representing the culture with accuracy and respect.
